There was plenty of anticipation to see the defending national champions back in action on Saturday, as the Wolverines took the field for the annual spring game in Ann Arbor. With Michigan replacing 18 key contributors who are off to pursue an opportunity in the NFL, a whole host of new faces took the field to showcase critical position battles as Michigan closed out its spring session.

Quarterbacks Alex Orji and Davis Warren looked solid in the passing game, sophomore wideouts Fredrick Moore and Kendrick Bell made big plays that resulted in touchdowns, and the defense once again looks like it might be one of the best in the country.
