Michigan football announced future schedule news on Wednesday morning. The Wolverines added Eastern Michigan to the schedule for the years 2027 and 2030. In ’27, the game will be played on Sept. 18, and in ’30, the game will be played on Sept. 7.
In 2027, Michigan’s non-conference schedule consists of: Buffalo (Sept. 4), @ Texas (Sept. 11), and Eastern Michigan (Sept. 18).
In 2030, Eastern Michigan is currently the only team on the Wolverines’ non-conference schedule.
Michigan is 10-0 against Eastern Michigan. The last time the two teams met was back in 2011 when the Wolverines defeated EMU, 31-3. The maize and blue is 33-1 against MAC opponents all-time. The lone loss coming to Toledo back in 2008 under Rich Rodriguez.
