Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: Ohio State fans are whining.

In what has become a reoccurring theme on a daily basis, Buckeye fans are once again spending a significant amount of time complaining via social media, except this time their displeasure isn’t aimed at Michigan – it’s aimed at EA Sports.

On Friday, EA released the highly anticipated trailer for College Football 25, featuring a wide variety of action shots from the game itself. While most were ready to run through a brick wall after watching the near two-minute trailer, Ohio State fans found their favorite team on the wrong end of several shots. Michigan running back Donovan Edwards is shown (accurately) driving a Buckeye to the ground with a stiff-arm while on his way to the endzone, former OSU QB Kyle McCord (now with Syracuse) is featured dropping a dime, and the Buckeyes are shown to have lost a game against Illinois by a score of 52-42 – something that hasn’t happened since 2007.

Shortly after the trailer was dropped, Buckeyes took to social media to voice their displeasure, while others used it as a way to mock that folks in Columbus.

Of course, there’s also the fact that a Buckeye has never graced the cover of EA’s College Football game, while the Wolverines have had four cover athletes – more than any other program in the country. No matter how you cut it, the Buckeye faithful just can’t seem to catch a break these days, and it’s absolutely glorious to witness.
