Fanatics founder Michael Rubin had a handful of NFL rookies at his place on Sunday for breakfast and a meeting with Grammy Award rapper Jay-Z and the G.O.A.T football star Tom Brady.

Rookies such as Jayden Daniels, Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Michigan’s J.J. McCarthy were all in attendance on Sunday. The two Wolverine legends were able to take a photo together and the Minnesota Vikings’ Twitter (X) account posted it on social media.

Brady and McCarthy both have one thing in common: both of them have won a title. Brady didn’t start during the Wolverines’ 1997 national championship, but he was on the team. McCarthy led Michigan to its next national title in 2023 against Washington. McCarthy has some work to do in the NFL if he’s going to match Brady. The former Patriots and Buccaneers QB won seven Super Bowl titles during his playing days in the NFL.

Brady took to Instagram to share his experience with the young NFL stars. Brad, who is now the lead analyst at Fox, will get to cover these rookies for the foreseeable future.

I had a great morning with @fanatics@michaelrubin and some of the future players that will shape our great league @nfl. I’ll always cherish the opportunity to talk to these young men who are about to start a monumental chapter of their lives. I would never be in the place I am today without the incredible people and mentors that came into my life at the right time and at the right place. There are too many to mention but I have been blessed in so many ways. I feel we should always use our experiences to help others and “pay it forward” to see the next generation grow as well. So they can live their dreams and maximize their potential.

We talked about life and a little football 😉 , but from the tape I’ve been watching I think they have a great opportunity ahead. See you all on the road this year and I can’t wait to watch your progress toward greatness with tremendous determination and discipline! LFG!
