It wasn’t that long ago when Michigan had a commitment from four-star point guard, Christian Anderson. The Oak Hill Academy guard committed to the Wolverines and Juwan Howard back in 2021, he signed his Letter of Intent to play for coach Howard on Nov. 8 2023.
But when Michigan parted ways with Howard, Anderson de-committed from the program on March 30. Dusty May was brought in to lead the program, but the two sides weren’t able to rekindle the relationship. Instead, May went out and landed Justin Pippen, another four-star guard, and Lorenzo Cason — former FAU signee.
Anderson, the No. 116 ranked player in the 2024 class by the Composite, announced he would commit and sign with Texas Tech. The 5-foot-11 point guard will now have a chance to step into a good situation. The Red Raiders will need some guard help and Anderson will have a chance to make an impact right away.
