For the first time in program history, Michigan football will host Arkansas State during Week 3 action. The Wolverines will get Arkansas State at Noon ET and the game will air on the Big Ten Network.
This is the fifth game time we now know. Michigan opens its season up against Fresno State under the lights, then gets Texas at Noon in Ann Arbor, plays Arkansas State at Noon, and then will host USC at 3:30 p.m. As usual, Michigan will play Ohio State at Noon in The ‘Shoe this season.
Arguably, Week 3 will be the easiest matchup on the Wolverines’ 2024 schedule. The Red Wolves went 6-7 in 2023. Michigan will also get teams like Oregon, Washington, and Michigan State during the ’24 season — times are still to be announced on these games.
Week 3 could be a good game for Michigan to unleash some of its younger freshmen to get some valuable game action.
