Senior wideout Eamonn Dennis announced on Monday that he intends to enter his name into the transfer portal and explore other opportunities. Dennis has spent four years as part of the Michigan Football program, appearing in all 14 games on special teams during the 2023 season.
Though talented, Dennis was never able to break into the offensive rotation, and he’ll now look for a new home where he can showcase his talents.
You can read his entire statement below:
I want to begin by expressing my gratitude to God for guiding me since the age of six when I first stepped onto the field. The opportunity to play in front of millions of people has always been a cherished dream, one that Michigan made happen.
I want to extend my appreciation to Coach Harbaugh, Coach Moore, Coach Herb, and the their coaching staff for their unwavering support and mentorship. To my teammates, who have become brothers, thank you for the life-long memories. Being a Michigan man has taught me lessons that will resonate throughout my lifetime.
Having completed my studies at UMICH in an accelerated 3.5 years and still holding two years of eligibility, after sincere reflection and heartful discussions with my family, I’ve made the decision to explore new opportunities through the transfer portal.
Thank you to everyone who helped me throughout my journey and forever GO BLUE!
