While nothing has been official yet through the Michigan basketball program, Dusty May has brought on former Oklahoma State head coach Mike Boynton Jr. and Georgia assistant coach Akeem Miskdeen as the newest Wolverines’ assistants.

According to the latest report from Jon Rothstein, May has his third and final assistant coach that will be on the court with him. Saint Mary’s assistant Justin Joyner is set to be hired by Michigan.

Joyner has been with Saint Mary’s for the past seven seasons. He has served as the Director of Operations, the associate head coach, along with being an assistant.

During his college days, Joyner was a point guard for UC Santa Barbara from 2006-11. He finished 8th all-time with 357 career assists as the PG. Joyner also finished second all-time with 134 steals.
