We are a little under four months away until Michigan football takes the field for a Week 1 matchup with Fresno State. Coming off of a national title season in which the Wolverines went undefeated with big victories over the likes of Ohio State, Alabama, and Washington — Michigan is trying to repeat what it did in a new-look Big Ten and College Football Playoff.
The path to the CFP will be highly difficult for Michigan in 2024. The Wolverines have one of the tougher schedules in college football with matchups with Texas, USC, Oregon, Washington, and Ohio State on the docket. But if the Wolverines are going to not only make the playoff, but make it back to the big stage, then Michigan will have to beat — most — of those teams during the regular season.
