The Heisman Trophy winner and NFL Hall of Famer launched his Woodson Bourbon Whiskey in 2020, a Kentucky bourbon distilled in Owensboro, Kentucky. A year earlier, Woodson launched his popular wine line called “Intercept.” Although both brands have definitely become popular in recent years within the Michigan community, this is not a new endeavor for Woodson. In fact, Woodson launched his first wine line back in 2001 called “TwentyFour” – the number he wore for the raiders – which was a merlot.
Given all of the love that he has enjoyed from the Maize and Blue community over the years, Woodson selected Michigan as the first state to offer his Woodson Bourbon Whiskey to retailers back in 2021.
