Like Michigan football will experience in 2024 — a new-look Big Ten and a difficult schedule — it appears the Men’s Basketball program will have the same experience on the hardwood.

According to BetMichigan.com, the Wolverines have one of the toughest Big Ten schedules heading into next season. The Big Ten formally announced the Big Ten basketball schedule for next season.

The Wolverines get Michigan State, Purdue, and Rutgers home/away next year. Michigan will travel to: Indiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio State, UCLA, USC, and Wisconsin. And the Wolverines get the following teams in Ann Arbor: Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Northwestern, Oregon, Penn State, and Washington.

BetMichigan came up with a method to rank each Big Ten’s schedule in terms of difficulty.

  • 1 point – home vs. ESPN Top 25
