The Wolverines didn’t have an opportunity to secure then-Texas cornerback Terrance Brooks who committed to Illinois before his visit to Ann Arbor. So Michigan football will continue to look around to add some secondary depth.

Next up, an FCS All-American.

According to 247Sports Matt Zenitz, Michigan has a visit with Albany cornerback Aamir Hall.

The 6-foot-1 CB spent Spring 2021 and Fall 2021-’22 with Richmond before transferring to play for Albany in ’23. Last year for Albany, Hall had 63 tackles, 15 pass deflections, and five INTs. Hall helped the Great Danes to an 11-4 record and into a Playoff birth. He was considered an All-American by Sports Illustrated.

With some losses to the transfer portal, the Wolverines are continuing to try to add some depth to the secondary room. Michigan is also in on Michigan State safety Jaden Mangham and has reached out to several other defensive backs.
