If fans weren’t excited enough about the upcoming release of EA’s College Football 25, the newly released trailer for the game certainly brought the excitement to a fever pitch on Friday.
The game is making its return after a 10-year hiatus, thanks in large part to the new era of NIL and athletes being able to profit from their name, image, and likeness – an issue that ultimately led to the end of the series back in 2014. EA Sports offered FBS players $600 and a copy of the game to use their likeness in the game, and it’s been reported that more than 11,000 players happily accepted that offer.
Michigan fans have even more of an incentive to be excited about the upcoming release of the game on July 19, as running back Donovan Edwards becomes the fourth Wolverine to grace the cover of the game – joining Desmond Howard, Charles Woodson, and Denard Robinson.
